Vedrana Jaksetic is a Croatian volleyball player, who plays as a Setter for the German club VfB Suhl Lotto Thuringen and the Croatian national team. She is a gold medalist from the 2018 Mediterranean Games and a silver medalist from the 2019 European Golden League.
Vedrana Jaksetic was born on September 17, 1996, in Osijek, Croatia. She became interested in volleyball through her mother and started training in primary school. She practiced volleyball at the youth team ZOK Pivovara Osijek.
Vedrana Jaksetic turned professional in 2013 with the club OK Porec. In her maiden season with the club, they won Croatian Cup and finished third at the Croatian League. The team also played in the CEV Cup and Challenge Cup. Meanwhile, she played for the Croatian U19 national team in the qualification for the European Championships.
In season 2014/2015, OK Porec with Vedrana Jaksetic won the Croatian League and finished third in the Croatian Cup. The team again in Challenge Cup. Vedrana Jaksetic played at the 2015 European Games and 2015 World Grand Prix with the senior Croatian national team, but finished 11th and 20th, respectively.
OK Porec missed winning a trophy in the next season but finished 9th at MEVZA.
In 2016, Vedrana Jaksetic joined the French first-league club RC Cannes. She played for the team for three seasons and won the French League A in 2018/2019 and French Cup in 2017/2018. Also, the team finished second in the French Ligue A in 2017/2018 and played in the Champions League. At the international level, Vedrana Jaksetic won the gold at the 2018 Mediterranean Games and finished second at the 2019 European Golden League.
In 2019, she signed with another French team Vandaeuvre Nancy Volleyball, where played for only one season.
In 2021, she moved to Germany and signed with VfB Suhl Lotto Thuringen. With the team, she won the bronze at the Challenge Cup in 2022/2023. At the international level, she won the bronze at the 2022 European Golden League.
