Ananda Marinho

Ananda Marinho is a volleyball player from Brazil who currently plays as a setter in Sesi Volei Bauru. Among her biggest achievements was the runner-up at the South American Club Championship and 4th at the Club World Championship with the team Dentil/Praia Clube.

Ananda Marinho was born on May 2, 1989, in Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She started in athletics and volleyball from an early age, but during her scholarship choose only volleyball where developed her abilities.

Ananda Marinho started her professional career at the team Medley/Banespa in the 2007/2008 season. In the team, she played for two years and reached 7th position in Brazilian Superliga and 4th position in Women Paulista Championship.

In 2009, Ananda Marinho moved to Banana Boat/Praia Clube. With the team, where she played for two seasons, she won Liga Nacional and finished third at the Women Mineiro Championship.

In 2011, she signed with Volei Futuro, winning the Paulista Championship and finishing third in the Brazilian Superliga.

Ananda Marinho signed with Rio do Sul in 2012 to play one season for the club. With the team, she won Catarinense Championship.

In 2013, she moved to EC Pinheiros, but after only a season and not any big achievement, signed with Terracap/BRB/Brasília VoleiBrazil.

In 2015, Ananda Marinho returned again to EC Pinheiros, where stayed for two seasons and was the runner-up at the Brazilian Supercup.

After the expiration of her contract, in 2017, she signed with Dentil/Praia Clube for two years. With the club, she won the Brazilian Superliga and was runner-up at the Brazilian Cup and Mineiro Championship in her first season. In the second season, the team even was runner-up at the South American Club Championship and 4th at the Club World Championship.

In 2020, Ananda Marinho moved to play volleyball in Italy and signed with VBC Epiu Casalmaggiore. In the season she played with the club, they finished 11th in the Italian Serie A1 and 8th in the Women’s Italian Supercup.

In 2022, after giving birth to her child, Ananda Marinho returned to Brazil and signed with Sesi Volei Bauru.
